“Boys for Sale” to premier in Germany
“Boys for Sale”, a documentary produced by Ian about young guys working in Tokyo’s sex trade, will hold it’s World Premier this week in Frankfurt, Germany, at the 2017 Nippon Connection Film Festival. “Suturing Cultures” to be re-broadcast May 29
“Suturing Cultures“, Ian’s documentary commissioned by NHK World that first aired in February of this year, will be re-broadcast on May 29. The times and more about the program, which is about young Japanese medical students preparing for a career during which they will also see foreign patients, can be found on the NHK World page for the film.
Acres of Diamonds
While Ian represented “Acres of Diamonds”, on which he served as one of the producers, at the East Coast premier, director Shawn Small was receiving the award for Best Short Doc at the LA premier. More information about the film and the screenings can be found on the DocumentingIan Blog.
