Boys for Sale “one of the standout documentaries of the year”
Following the East Coast Premier in New York City’s NewFest, the DocumentingIan-produced Boys for Sale was called one “one of the standout documentaries of the year” by the Diva Review and was given 4.5 stars by the James Wegg Review. The documentary “Boys for Sale“, on which Ian served as the executive producer, has received the award for Best Documentary at the 2017 Durban Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in South Africa. Nine more screenings of “Boys for Sale” announced
Nine more screenings of the DocumentingIan-produced documentary “Boys For Sale” have been announced. From Mexico to Romania, the total number of screenings in international film festivals is now 22. “Dying at Home” to be re-broadcast globally on Oct 30
“Dying at Home”, Ian’s 2016 documentary about home care doctor Dr. Kaoru Konta, will be re-broadcast around the world on the NHK World channel and (free) app. Times for the four screenings on October 30 can be found on the NHK World page for the documentary, while more about Dr. Konta and Ian’s relationship with her and her patients can be found on the DocumentingIan blog.
London screening of “Boys for Sale” Sells Out
Following a successful screening in Rotterdam’s Camera Japan Film Festival, the main screening of the “Boys for Sale” UK Premier in the prestigious Raindance Film Festival was sold out. Due to popular demand, an additional screening of the film was held.
